GodenStone User Agreement & Privacy Policy

Preamble & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to GodenStone. Please read these terms carefully before accessing or using the software. By downloading, installing, launching, or using GodenStone, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all terms. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the software.

1. Purpose of Data Collection & Features

GodenStone aggregates deck and match samples to provide mulligan keep rates, popular-deck statistics and class matchups.

2. Reported Data

• ✅ Both hero classes, game format, match time, turn count and outcome
• ✅ Starting cards and kept or replaced choices
• ✅ Deck name and composition, random installation identifier, and match and deck identifiers for deduplication

Reports do not include Battle.net credentials or passwords, and do not use hardware serial numbers as installation identifiers. Deck names are reported as entered by players; avoid putting sensitive personal information in a deck name.

3. Third-Party Tool & Data Access

Match tracking reads game logs; collection syncing uses platform helpers. GodenStone is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment and does not guarantee account enforcement outcomes.

4. Local Storage & Statistics Reporting

Card caches and match records are stored in the local application-data directory. Deck and match samples are also sent to the GodenStone statistics service. Clearing local caches does not automatically delete uploaded samples. Desktop versions with usage reporting also send app launches, foreground use, completed matches, disenchant starts and pack-advice views to our own GodenStone statistics service, with random installation and session identifiers, app version, operating system and event time. These usage events contain no account details, hardware serial numbers or additional card content. Anonymous usage statistics are on by default and are used to understand product usage, separately from deck and match sample contributions. Offline events are retained locally for up to 7 days and server events for 90 days. A per-installation first-report record is retained separately for deduplication beyond event retention; it identifies newly reporting devices, not installations.

Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft and its associated trademarks, artwork, and copyrights are property of Blizzard Entertainment. GodenStone is an independent community project and has no official affiliation or endorsement by Blizzard Entertainment.

6. Modifications & Contact

You can submit problems or suggestions through Send feedback in the main window or deck tracker. Your message, images you choose to attach, optional contact details, app version, operating system type and feedback entry point are stored by GodenStone and are accessible only to administrators to review feedback and contact you when needed. Game logs, screenshots and account details are not attached automatically. Updated terms will be published here.
